When I began writing back in 1987 I did not have a computer and I hand wrote all of my poems in countless notebooks. It has taken several decades to archive all of it but it is slowly being done @ www.projectendofdays.com

Project End of Days began in 1999 as a way to organize and convert hand written drafts of poetry into a final draft stage that would be ready to publish, but also has become a way of unifying the 17 volumes of poetry it represents. An End of Days involves transcending time and Project End of Days is an eternal perspective on the passage of several decades of time and writing and creating art. Project End of Days is in between now and eternity in the sense that it provides a portal or bridge beyond the insistent machinations of time, a pause between this moment and the eternal-it is an affirmation of the deep mystery that surrounds us and of the human longing that is part of the poetic vocation to convey.
I like to give myself a safe place to start writing or painting.
I will create sketches & notes that are an approximation of an idea. The final poem or painting that they produce may end up being quite different, but the important thing is to allow yourself to begin. 10/5/2020 Very early on I was highly influenced by both William Blake and Jim Morrison. I knew rather quickly that I wanted to combine my poems with art and music.

studioappal.bandcamp.com/album/project-end-of-days Poetry read from the book that spans several decades by T. Byron Kelly. It is in those moments of either visions or something whispered
through you that you have to not only pay attention but to choose to take action. 9/5/2020 I usually write a collection of poems
under one title. These poems can be edited and revised and the sequence can always be added to at a later time. This is important because it means the poems are living and can evolve as ideas develop about them. 7/27/2020 Many times my older poems require some adjustments during the editing process. The poems often go through chrysalis stages. Project End of Days has been a way to organize, draft, revise and finally archive a collection of poetry that began in 1987 and is still ongoing.

*from Ghost House Media @ www.amazon.com/dp/B088VXM3W5/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_gmS4EbN6SWK5A Project End of Days began in 1999 as a poetry project that spanned several decades at that time. The collection of poetry by T. Byron Kelly was mostly in hand written form still at that time with the exception of the published manuscript for Poems of The Infinite Dream. Project End of Days was turned into a book in 2005 in an attempt to capture the slow progress of translating the 13 volumes of hand written poems into manuscript form. By 2020 the blog at LiveJournal had over 1000 poems from the collections of Notebook Poems, Faith of Heart, Poems of the Infinite Dream, Wish List, Midnight Poems, The River of Swans, Advent Alpha, Advent Omega, The Beginning of The End, Light & Shadow, Va. West Va. Poems and Vandalia. This revision of Project End of Days is a comprehensive view of over 30 years of poetry and an attempt to archive this substantial volume of work in a single frame.
